Spring is just around the corner and it got me to thinking of the miracle of the seasons. To me Spring represents a renewal. Summer is the time of growing and maturing. Autumn is the time of harvest, of reaping the rewards of our labor. And Winter is the time of rest, it is a time of peace when we can look back upon what we have accomplished. But Spring is the time for renewing the beauty of nature and the beauty within ourselves. It is a time for the pause that refreshes.
It seems to me that man has spent, and is spending, an awfully lot of time talking about God, heaven and hell, etc. Spring, to me, answers all of our questions, doubts and wondering. Spring shows us that there is always a time of renewal, a time to remove from our thoughts all doubt and disbelief.
Spring is a time of realizing that in all of nature there is a pattern, a continuing pattern: Spring - a time of pausing and reflecting upon what lies ahead. It is a time of planting.
Summer - a time for growing and maturing and fulfilling.
Autumn - a time of harvest, of reaping the rewards of our labor.
Winter - a time of rest and inner peace and removing from our lives all of the foolishness and fal-de-ral created by man. It is a time of getting, once more, down to the basics about what creation is all about.
If I did not believe in a Diety it would be Springtime that would prove, to me, how wrong l am….
The seasons are so much like our lives. We experience a time of growing, a time of maturity, a time of fulfillment and then a time of renewal. Death, at whatever age, does not deprive us of another springtime, a time of knowing that we are but renewing ourselves in another expression of life.
Everybody has their time of spring if they would but look for it. I had an expression of spring in my own life after my accident. I was unable to walk and had to learn this simple everyday act from the beginning. It was a sort of hell yet was a springtime in my life. The simple act of walking is taken for granted by most people. I had to re-learn, from scratch, this simple everyday activity and I, once again, experienced Spring. All creation is in cycles. It is necessary for us to stop for a moment and experience the pause that refreshes. We should take a "breather” in order to reflect what life and death, what creation is really all about. Most of us cannot be bothered to do this and then wonder why we are always questioning, wondering, running to every gimmick that comes along.
If we would but realize that if we would take the "pause that refreshes” and do some reflection we would realize that God has always been but not just to suit our whim of the moment.
Spring is about to be upon us and it is a wonderful time to reflect, to think, to contemplate upon what this creation that man makes so much of is all about.
God Love Ya
