We struggle, we sweat, we swear, we laugh, we cry. For what? We ignore the fact that science, religion and the psychic form one circle uniting to make a complete whole, The sciences of chemistry, physics and mathematics of just a few years ago are not applicable in our modern society. They have become outdated and have been replaced with new discoveries. At one time it was believed that the world was a flat static universe. We now know it is a very fluid universe constantly changing. There are still those who believe that Adam and Eve were our first parents and the act of eating an apple brought sin into the world. Judgment day, being born in sin, heaven, hell, a God of love and of condemnation, a devil always ready to tempt you… all of these things originated in ancient times when mankind did not understand inner spiritual truths. These things were not based on knowledge yet, even today, we see those who must have such childish concepts because they have no desire to learn otherwise. The average person is constantly deceiving himself by believing that all of his difficulties, environment and circumstances (good or bad) are caused by influences OUTSIDE himself. An example of this is, "It is God's will", "God is punishing me, or someone else for our sins."

I was the only guest on a two hour radio talk show. A woman called in and asked for my advice regarding a problem she had. When I told her to examine herself, her thoughts, beliefs because this is where her problem is she said, "I do not like you. I will pray to God for my answer." This woman will never resolve her problem because she refuses to LOOK WITHIN HERSELF SO EXPECTS SOMEONE ELSE TO SOLVE HER PROBLEM FOR HER. Yes, Life is a funny proposition after all.

A man I know based his whole life on his material accomplishments and felt he was indispensable. He was an executive and he was sure the company couldn't do without him. And then he had a stroke. He is spending the rest of his life in a wheel chair. His wife had to go to work. He is now an onlooker.

Am I being morbid? Not at all. I am only trying to show how this most important materialistic life can crumble in a moment. What then do we have to fall back on? Surely not, "It is God's will", "God is punishing me for my sins." We must realize that these things are the RESULTS OF OUR OWN THINKING.

I knew a man whose whole life was involved in accumulating money. His wife and children suffered because of this. He died and the only legacy he left was how much money he left them.

Psychic development is actually SALVATION! It is putting everything into its proper perspective. The problem of today is the memory of tomorrow. What you do about today's problem will determine what you will be tomorrow. So many want their God, Jesus, a minister, a medium, a psychiatrist, drugs, alcohol, tranquilizers to RELEASE THEM. Release them from what? From THEMSELVES AND THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES, OF COURSE. Man is conditioned to live in fear. Fear of a hell, fear of a devil, fear of higher gasoline prices, fear of higher interest rates, fear of job security, fear of our children but don't do anything about it. There are those who tell me they are seeking their freedom so walk away from family and loved ones. Actually they are living a life of quiet desperation but would never admit it.

Life is a funny proposition after all.

The good Lord has given to everyone of us EVERY INGREDIENT WE NEED TO LIVE A FULL, HAPPY AND PRODUCTIVE LIFE yet we seem to think we must always look "out there" somewhere for the answers. Psychic development reveals to you ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW IN ORDER TO FIND YOUR ANSWERS. Why then is the psychic so often thought to be evil? Our government, our religion, our way of life demands that they give you your answers ON THEIR TERMS and SELF DISCOVERY should have no part in it.

I watch many students who take my classes and then go off on a tangent of taking every other type of class that comes along. Why? They want what they want when they want it WITHOUT HAVING TO MAKE ANY EFFORT TO DISCOVER SELF. I see those who move into apartments and condominiums so they will not have to weed a garden, cut a lawn yet will join a club so they can jog, excercise in order to keep fit. There is no joy in picking a rose that you cultivated. There is no feeling of accomplishment in the smelling of new cut grass. We want others to tell us why and how to jog, exercise. I am not to even smoke a pipe or a cigarette just because I WANT TO. I must first find out WHAT OTHERS SAY BEFORE I SHOULD DO IT. Yes, Life is a funny proposition after all…
