You should now be ready to begin to understand the meaning of the term I AM and see the psychic (spiritual) implications within it.

No words can explain or describe the REAL SELF. There are no words to explain God, mind, psychic, soul, spirit. All of these things are but attributes of ONE thing and which actually holds the secret of the ages. That one thing is I AM. I AM is the thinking, the knowing, the doing, the known and the unknown. It has nothing to do with the objective part of man. It has nothing to do with, "I wish I could do this or that", "I am an individual unto myself", "I am a personality". When my limited thought holds me bound then I AM is no greater than my limited thought. It is the I AM that JUST IS. It is the part of each of us that HAS NO LIMITATIONS. "I have meat ye know not of", "I am the bread of Life", I am the way and the truth". All of these illustrations have nothing to do with a person. IT DOES SPEAK OF THE LAW.

What does this have to do with psychic development? Without the understanding of I AM there would be no purpose for expecting results from your prayers, petitions or psychic (spiritual) development. The psychic nature of man is the I AM constantly desiring expression. Many who declare, "I have found God" are relating to the ego "I", the self satisfied "I", the "I" that can explain the experience, the "I" that is critical of those who do not follow their path. The "I Am" I am speaking of is altogether different. As long as the "I AM" of me is always seeking, doubting, questioning then I do not know freedom nor do I understand "I AM". Many people spend much on books, meditations, "readings" and have no desire to KNOW their own "I AMNESS". The I AM of me is the I AM of everyone else for their is only ONE I AM and in understanding this the development of the psychic gives it greater meaning and purpose.

Let us admit that most of us place the power in our lives to EXTERNALS. Examples? OK. You need a job. Who are you giving the control to in order to get the job? Is it people? Economic conditions? A flooded market in the work you desire?

The GEM I am placing before you is trampled upon more than almost any other spiritual (psychic) teaching.

I want a job. I want a thousand dollars. I want a new house. I want a new automobile. If the understanding comes in what I have been trying to teach you you will realize that you actually WANT NONE OF THESE THINGS BECAUSE THESE THINGS JUST ARE!! Were you ready for that?

There should really be no need to speak to you of "I AM" because we should "see" the "I AM" in each other and in all things and it demands no voicing or explaining. What is it that directs us to the fulfillment of what we seek? What is my health? What is my abundance? ALL off these things are nothing more or less than that which is the "I AM” of you, and of me.

Believe it or not this lesson and what it means HAS BEEN TAUGHT THROUGHOUT ALL AGES, yes, even before the time of Jesus, but it was Jesus who TRIED to give all people the understanding of it, yet it goes begging even to the present day and man declares he has progressed.

WHENEVER THIS TRUTH IS RECOGNIZED THERE IS NO LONGER "I WANT", "I DESIRE", "I HATE", "I LOVE", "I BELIEVE IN GOD", "I DISBELIEVE" because the "I AM" is ALREADY" ALL OF THESE THINGS.

The I AM of me is the I AM of everyone else for there is ONLY ONE I AM and when this is understood it shows what TRUE psychic development really means and what its true purpose is meant to reveal.

"I AM the way, the Truth and the Light" so said Jesus and there has never been a better way to say it. What man does not realize that in this magnificent statement Jesus placed the understanding of the "I AM" on man himself. Have you yet realized that if man places the total of "I AM" on just one Man, Jesus, he then lessens the Divinity of Jesus and, yes, of man himself. We all are "I AM” and this is what Jesus wanted us to see. He wanted us to understand that His way, His teachings were meant to direct man to this realization yet man dismisses HIS OWN RESPONSIBILITY by placing it all on Jesus only. Jesus would be but a very interesting Man if what He taught was for Himself only. When, oh when will man begin to discover what God intended him to be? Discover Who you are, Why you are and what you are and you will discover "I AM".
