This is the most widely used lesson I have ever written. I ask that you do not do what many insist in doing. They argue it and tear it to bits BEFORE THEY HAVE HARDLY READ IT LET ALONE TRY IT.

Surely most of us has had the experience of praying for an answer to something only to receive no answer. Perhaps we wondered why the answer never materialized. Perhaps we became frustrated and gave up the whole thing (praying) as a bad job or simply continued to pray over and over again. Perhaps we tried to make ourselves feel better by declaring, “It is God’s will”. Of course this weakens faith as nothing else can, and does.

After a great deal of thought I now KNOW I have arrived at the basic reason why many prayers are not answered. Whether you agree with me or not isn’t the issue, at least not until you have tried this psychic principle for yourself.

Constant repetition of prayer actually reflects how little FAITH we have. TRUE FAITH (PRAYER) NEEDS NO REPETITION! It does need to be DEMONSTRATED. How? IF WE DO SOMETHING TANGIBLE – AN ACT OF FAITH we solidify an acceptance WITHIN which God (Divine Energy) CAN, AND WILL ACT UPON. When I pray for something I might have a bit of faith at the time I am praying, but as time goes by without receiving an answer I might begin to lose the bit of faith I started with. IF I DO SOMETHING CONCRETE, SOMETHING I CAN RELATE TO, I will always have a way of renewing my faith.

Now we come to the “Bowl”. A rose bowl, a shoe box, a candy dish, oh, anything will suffice. This next step is most important. ACTUALLY WRITE ON A PIECE OF PAPER YOUR REQUEST (PRAYER). Bless your container as being God’s container and PLACE YOUR PRAYER IN IT. KNOW YOU HAVE RELEASED IT SO NOW IT CAN, AND WILL BE ANSWERED. REAFFIRM THIS AT LEAST ONCE A DAY WITHOUT REPETING THE PRAYER (REQUEST). Perhaps your faith begins to weaken and you begin to have doubts because nothing seems to happen. STOP RIGHT THERE! Each time this happens REAFFIRM that your prayer IS IN THE HANDS OF THAT WHICH IS GREATER THAN YOURS, and something is BEING DONE about it.

This isn’t as easy as it sounds but it is the way to RELEASE ALL DOUBTS AND FEARS AND YOU HAVE SOLIDIFIED SOMETHING IN RELATION TO YOUR REQUEST (PRAYER) AND YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING CONCRETE IN EXPRESSING YOUR FAITH. You must BELIEVE that there are Forces, God’s Forces, in the seen as well as in the unseen working on behalf of your prayer. You now realize that YOU must do something in order to receive your answer, but you do not know what it is that you should do. You MUST watch for the hunch, the nudge, the inspiration or for any way you are being led to the answer of you prayer.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. KNOW AND ACCEPT the reason for your prayer (request). BELIEVE that there are FORCES, in the seen as well as the unseen, working on your behalf and you are compatible with them. Remember, please, the Lord does work in mysterious ways. You must realize that these Forces must work THRU YOU – not TO YOU.

Allow no fears or doubts to enter your thoughts in any way.

In placing your request (prayer) in an ACTUAL CONTAINER you are DOING AN ACTUAL ACT OF FAITH. Keep at it. DO NOT DOUBT. If you ridicule, disbelieve or argue this principle you are doing the same thing to TRUE PRAYER!

KEEP TO YOURSELF WHAT YOU ARE DOING. There are way too many who love to try to destroy rather than strengthen principles such as this and would never try it before criticizing it.

This bit of actually DOING SOMETHING opens WITHIN the Spiritual/Psychic center of you THRU WHICH DIVINE ENERGY DOES ITS WORK.

There will be those who will tell you they do this “mentally” but there is no REAL SELF DISCIPLINE IN THIS! It is just a good sounding way, excuse, of getting out of actually DOING AN ACT OF FAITH. Pay no attention to such as this.

Remember, please, - REAFFIRM AT LEAST ONCE A DAY THAT YOUR PRAYER HAS BEEN HEARD AND IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING ANSWERED. Keep yourself open for revision of thought, beliefs and changes in our life. Keep a happy heart. Hold onto an unshakeable faith. Have no fears. YOU WILL GET RESULTS I ASSURE YOU BECAUSE I HAVE PROVED THIS PRINCIPLE MANY TIMES. NEVER rehash or repeat your prayer (request). Simply REAFFIRM THAT YOUR PRAYER IS NOW BEING ANSWERED.
